Tamara (Tami) Baumann, is a Women’s Health Nurse Practitioner and a Certified Nurse Midwife. She has been in practice for more than18 years as a Nurse Practitioner and practiced as an RN for 8 years prior to becoming an NP.
She provides care for women through the life span, from adolescence to post-menopausal phases of life. Focusing on preventative healthcare and health promotion, empowering the women she takes care of through education and guidance by partnering in their health care not dictating it.
She has sat on the Governor’s Board to improve birth outcomes in our state, presented at the March of Dimes State Conference on Long Term Reversible Contraception, presented to APRN colleagues at conferences about Women’s health and contraception, and precepts APRN, and Midwifery students so that they can gain knowledge, skills and understanding about the special care of women.
