Let’s Talk About Men’s Health

November 02, 2026 Uncategorized

November marks Men’s Health Awareness Month, also known as Movember. This month serves as an opportunity to spotlight the health challenges that men face, such as mental health, prostate cancer, testicular cancer, and more. One popular way many men participate is by proudly sporting their mustaches during this month to help spark conversations and raise awareness. According to the American Cancer Society (ACS), prostate cancer is the most common cancer among men after skin cancer, and about 1 in 8 men will be diagnosed with prostate cancer during their lifetime.

Additionally, on Thursday, November 19, 2026, we celebrate International Men’s Day—a day dedicated to recognizing the positive contributions of men and boys, and encouraging constructive discussions about their well-being and shared experiences.

At Nevada Health Centers, we are committed to supporting the ongoing health and well-being of men by raising awareness about the importance of regular and preventive health screenings. Having a conversation with a man in your life about his health can be a powerful step in encouraging him to stay proactive, informed, and supported in his health journey.
