Hawaiian shirts and hula dancers converged at the Beverly E. Coleman Nevada Health Foundation’s annual signature Giving Is Good Medicine Luau event on Thursday, September 19th, in Las Vegas. Hosted at the Blind Center, the evening featured a program full of island-themed fun, with a performance from a local hula dancing company, delicious food and drink, fundraising auctions, and a special awards ceremony.
This year’s event was designed to raise funds for NVHC mobile programs, which expanded from three to five in 2023 and are always in need of support to keep the vehicles and staff moving down Nevada’s roads and throughout communities in need.
