Nevada Health Centers held a Women’s Wellness Empowerment Summit on June 24 at The Culinary Academy of Las Vegas. The event brought together women from all walks of life to discuss topics related to health and wellness. The speakers shared their knowledge and experiences on topics such as mindfulness, mental health, reproductive health, and breast cancer.

The keynote speaker, Ricki Fairley, touched upon her experience with breast cancer and gave an impactful presentation. The event also included a moderated Q&A session with medical professionals, and on-site services such as mammography screenings and vision screenings were provided. NVHC’s reproductive health services, clinical services, and other community partners were also present.

Attendees enjoyed refreshments and a full meal, and the event was made possible thanks to support from NVHC staff, the Black Women’s Wellness Collective, and volunteers from CSN.
