12th Annual Smarts & Smiles Dental Care Fair Helps Kids Head Back to School with Confident Smiles

Nevada Health Centers and Ronald McDonald House Las Vegas are inviting families to the 12th Annual Smarts & Smiles Back to School Dental Care Fair, hosted by the Ronald McDonald House Care Mobile®.

The Care Mobile is a mobile dental clinic dedicated to helping children and young adults across Nevada access the dental care they need. Each summer, the Smarts & Smiles event helps children prepare for the new school year with oral exams, backpacks, school supplies, and support for healthy smiles.

When: Monday, July 20 through Friday, July 24, 2026, from 8 a.m. to 5 p.m.

During the event, Care Mobile staff will provide oral exams for patients 21 years old and younger. Oral exams are provided regardless of insurance status. Nevada Health Centers accepts most dental plans, Medicaid, and Nevada Check Up.

Event organizers are also asking for donations of school supplies to help ensure every school-aged child who receives an exam can go home with a free backpack filled with supplies, just in time for the new school year.

Those who are able to donate are encouraged to use the Amazon wish list to send supplies to Ronald McDonald House Las Vegas at 2323 Potosi St., Las Vegas, NV 89146, through July 24.
